Since April 2004 the purpose of the remaining IVS-T2 sessions has been changed by the IVS OPC (Observing Program Committee). The new plan uses larger networks for each T2 session, say 16 to 24 stations, but have fewer T2 sessions during the year. The larger network should provide a stronger solution and better TRF results, even if there are fewer sessions each year. The TRF determine from single session solutions or from a global solution is very important IVS product because this is an essential part for creating the ITRF by corresponding IERS Product Center. A particular strength of VLBI is its contribution to the scale of the ITRF. Usually the TRF is computed from the 24h sessions that are dedicated to observing the EOP. Network ======= The standard configuration of the monthly observed IVS-T2 experiments consists of sixteen and more stations. All stations differ in some extent between all available IVS geodetic network stations from experiment to experiment. Schedule ======== This schedule was generated by the last updated SKED version using the EUR-SX band and the 64-16(EU-T2) EURSX-C-4 frequency setup, depending on which station are available for this observation. Variable scan lengths with a minimum 15 sec. and the most recent source flux models are included. SNR goals are around 20 at X-band and S-band depent on different baselines and stations. The predicted SNRs used include a 30 ps noise contribution added in quadrature, which is a typical magnitude for the reweight constants applied in SOLVE solutions. Some important optimization features enabled for this experiment : - the covariance analysis during schedule generation considers the previous 1 hours of observations, - minor SKED optimization parameters . maximum number of observations, . minimum time, were optimized over the best ( in a covariance sense ) 75% of the possible observations, this produces a somewhat more even sky distribution, - observations were weighted by their expected SNRs, - 30 ps noise contribution added, - mimimum time between observations of the same radio source was set to 20 min Session Notes for session: t2090 =========================================================== Experiment: T2090 Description IVS-T2.090 Scheduler: IGGB/Muesk Correlator: HAYS Start: 2013-176-17:30:00 End: 2013-177-17:30:01 Current yyyyddd: 2013176 (2013.48) ( 16469 MJD, TUES 25JUN.) =========================================================== There are no observations with DSS13 from 2013-176-17:30:00 to 2013-177-01:30:00 due to conflicts with other SPG and GAVRT experiments. =========================================================== First observations Observation listing from file t2090.skd for experiment T2090 Source Start DURATIONS name yyddd-hhmmss Ai Cc Sm 13 Ft Hh Kb K1 Km Kg Mc Mh Ny On Sh Tc Vs Vm Ww Wf 0059+581 13176-173000| 689 704 469 44 499 75 265 582 292 144 720 720| 1424-418 13176-173000| 401 167 401 | 1741-038 13176-173551| 360 40 47 266 98 360 | 0537-441 13176-173911| 206 206 | 2255-282 13176-173914| 202 75 201 202 | 1749+096 13176-174027| 137 190 113 190 | 0529+483 13177-013003| 70 347 347| Last observations 1749+096 13177-171816| 598 610 279 38 301 44 252 272 180 387 90 610 | 1622-253 13177-172123| 481 288 481 | 2255-282 13177-172406| 50 337 340 340 | 0537-441 13177-172543| 43 210 210 | 1741-038 13177-172723| 55 48 55 | 0748+126 13177-172812| 30 77 84 102 102| =========================================================== Average number of obs. per baseline per source(normalized by up-time) = 0.8 Min = 0.0 Max = 62.6 (Baseline Hh-Kb on 1424-418) RMS = 3.7 Total time: 1440 minutes ( 24.0 hours).
